Where are you located? Are you close to Margaret River Town?
We are located in the seaside community of Gnarabup, a quick 10 minute drive from Margaret River Town. We love being just a short stroll away from some of the most popular surf breaks in the South West. Surfpoint is a 3 hour drive from Perth City, with plenty of remarkable places to stop and check out on your journey.
Are your room types flexible? I have a number of people in my group to accomodate.
Yes, we offer plenty of flexibility. If you're travelling with family or friends and need somewhere to stay together, but you don't fit into the classic rooms on offer, don't stress! We've got this covered. Simply get in contact with us and we can organise for your rooms to be set up perfectly, so everyone feels right at home when they get here. We can organise King, Queen, Twin and bunk beds for our rooms (subject to availability).
What do you mean by shared facilities?
Surfpoint began as a backpacker accomodation, but since, has undergone quite the makeover! Those humble beginnings have actually provided us with very useful, versatile areas such as our lounge, dining and kitchen. These areas can be used and enjoyed by all guests during their stay. We also have shared bathrooms for guests that stay in one of our private rooms without ensuites. These shared bathrooms are shared only amongst guests at Surfpoint, not the general public. The bathrooms are tidy and spacious, with large showers and sinks. We clean our shared facilities daily using environmentally friendly products, to ensure best hygiene and comfort during your stay.
I need transport while I stay at Surfpoint, who can I call?
To get the most out of your stay in the South West we reccommend that you hire a vehicle to get you from A to B. Margaret River Rent a Car is the closest vehicle hire company. If you're after a taxi service,there is Taz's Taxi service in town. It is a good idea to plan and book ahead of time.
I'm walking the Cape to Cape, can you organise transfer to/from Surfpoint while I hike?
If you're hiking with Cape to Cape Explorer Tours your transport to/from the track and your accomodation here at Surfpoint are organised for you. If your hiking solo, get in touch with us today to discuss your options.
Can I bring my pet with me to stay at Surfpoint?
As much as we love making new furry friends! We do not allow pets here at Surfpoint. We aim to preserve our beautiful native environment and protect all the local widllife that visit us, and unfortunately canine companions can cause quite the disruption.. Our resort is not just a sanctuary for human visitors, but an abundance of native birds, possums and reptiles.
